As with most of you, we too are getting organized in the New Year. I started on my abiss of a closet and while I'm still in the thick of it, I have one organizing tip that I'd love to share.

First... Yes, I am a scarf hoarder. I said it, and yes, I realize I might have a problem. I love them. Winter. Summer. It doesn't matter, I love them. While I don't expect you all to have a gagillion scarves as I do, I'm sure you have a few floating around your closet trying to find a home?

For me, I've been storing mine in a plastic crate box on the shelf above the hanging clothes. It has worked okay, except that as I mentioned before, I have a ton of scarves and they have started to overflow. That's when I remembered a Pinterest Hack I had seen a while back.organizing-scarves-2

Seemed pretty simple to try. hangerAll you need is a hanger and a pack of plastic bathroom curtain rings. I found mine at Target for a dollar. (score!)Tying-scarfHere is how you tie a scarf to a ring.

    1. Fold scarf in half
    2. Slide loop of the halfed scarf into the ring
    3. Pull the legs of the scarf around the ring and through the loop of the scarf
    4. Pull taut

Viola, your scarf is one the ring.scarf-hangerConnect the ring to the hanger and that my friends is it!scarf-organizationYou now have all (or some) of your scarves on one hanger and into the closet! BAM! So easy and ORGANIZED! LOVE IT!

Okay, now off to finish off the closet organization. If I don't come out in a few days, send help!

    Happy Organizing!
