As with most of you, we too are getting organized in the New Year. I started on my abiss of a closet and while I'm still in the thick of it, I have one organizing tip that I'd love to share.
First... Yes, I am a scarf hoarder. I said it, and yes, I realize I might have a problem. I love them. Winter. Summer. It doesn't matter, I love them. While I don't expect you all to have a gagillion scarves as I do, I'm sure you have a few floating around your closet trying to find a home?
For me, I've been storing mine in a plastic crate box on the shelf above the hanging clothes. It has worked okay, except that as I mentioned before, I have a ton of scarves and they have started to overflow. That's when I remembered a Pinterest Hack I had seen a while back.

All you need is a hanger and a pack of plastic bathroom curtain rings. I found mine at Target for a dollar. (score!)
Here is how you tie a scarf to a ring.
- Fold scarf in half
- Slide loop of the halfed scarf into the ring
- Pull the legs of the scarf around the ring and through the loop of the scarf
- Pull taut
Viola, your scarf is one the ring.

Okay, now off to finish off the closet organization. If I don't come out in a few days, send help!
Happy Organizing!
