A simple sugar scrub is made with coconut oil and sugar. Simply heat the coconut oil in the microwave for 30-45 seconds until its in a full oil state (transparent). Then mix in the sugar and there you have it. See, super simple right? To make it Pumpkin pie scent, simply mix in pumpkin pie spice and ground cinnamon until full combined. Then into a jar.I like to use a simple pattern paper for the top. Trace the inside ring of the jar with a pencil and cut it out. Add ribbon for added decoration and viola, you have yourself the cutest little mason jar gift. The best part about a sugar scub is that you can make them all year long. Add some peppermint extract during Christmas, some citrus for the Summer. It really is the gift that you can make all year long. I'm quite partial to Fall just because I seem to be going to many more parties and gatherings and hate to come empty handed. Added benefit, sugar and coconut oil are staples in my pantry, so if you're even in a bind, its truly a gift you can pull together in less than 5 minutes. Booyah! LOVE THAT!
Happy Making!
