Dive-in Movie
SUMMER is in full swing and you know what that means to us over at Made with HAPPY? Dive-in Movie Night!
We've been having Dive-in Movies at the house for about 6 years. Each year getting a little better in our delivery. The first year was a janky setup with lots of wires, computer speakers where about 5 of us crouched around the speakers to even hear the movie.
Six years later, not only is our setup a lot better to accommodate 20-30, we're able to see and hear it great! Only big difference between now and 6 years ago is that most of us have little ones and so our movie choices are quite different. The past few shows, we've made the decision to separate the movie showings during Dive-in Movie night. Backyard is the adult movie and in the house is all kids all the time! Fun for all!
By separating the movies is also allows for the adults to get a little time to themselves to relax with friends and when it comes to treats, we save the good ones for ourselves 🙂 Did you know Klondike now makes bars? Umm, so freaking good! Nothing makes a Summer party goer more HAPPY than chocolaty ice cream deliciousness... right?
I even snuck a Klondike Kandy Bar in before the party during setup 🙂 Please disregard the no makeup selfie 🙂
Alright alright, maybe we did give some to the kids too. teheheheh... I'm not that mean. But they had to enjoy them in the house watching the Lego Movie. Summer fun at its finest!Both movies starts right at sun down and I can't tell you how much fun it is! Makes me so HAPPY. Every time, we go to pack away the projector, I think to myself that we should watch every movies out there. Who wants to come over for the next Summer Dive-in Movie Night?
