How many of you or your children are blessed with an end of December birthdays?
My sweet girl happens to be right there smack dab between Christmas and New Years! No matter how much you plan or how much you do to make sure the birthday is separate from other festivities, it always gets rolled up into "the holiday" craziness. Not to mention how all her friends are busy with their families and vacations and such.
So this year we decided to celebrate our sweet girl's half birthday! Half Birthday you ask? Yep, what kid wouldn't want a festivities right at the start of summer when the weather is gorgeous and your friends are all free to celebrate with you? Heck yeah!
Alright, half birthday planning begins. We have a little girl that likes playing with her friends, all things girly and sweet. Anything yellow and pink and dressing up and tea parties are a constant... Hmmm, what should I do?
You got it, a tea party with dress up it is!!! I had so much fun planning this great day. With the help of my dear friend Jenn, (who you may remember hosted the "Oh the places you'll go" baby shower we threw last year), I think the day turned out to be spectacular!
It was filled with dress-up, tea sandwiches, and all things girly! Here are some of the pictures from the day!
