Although we are almost halfway through Summer, there are still some serious Summer fun to be had in the backyard. We have been having an absolute blast in the pool at our house and have been collecting some awesome pool lounge floats.

While there are tons of fun pool floats out there in the world, there are only some that are really great for a home pool, and in all honesty, cool pool floats make me ridiculously HAPPY and so I thought why not share my favorites with you all!

I'm not going to lie, I kind of feel like I'm a bit of an expert at this point. First off, I do know my HAPPY, but also, knowing what is reasonable, and what is not is kind of my jam, so here you have it!

Those that are following along on MadewithHAPPY Inastagram, might have noticed that the hubba bubba, MWH Dad, bought me this super cute pink flamingo for my birthday earlier in the month. It is super bright and sturdy and I love floating around in it.

Giganic Unicorn Pool Float

I love this floatie because it gives you the opportunity to actually lay out and float around the pool. The yellow is amazing and who doesn't love pineapples? Plus the kids get a kick out of hanging out on it and floating around a home pool.

Smarties Pool Float

This is going to be one of the few giganic pool floats I'm going to recommend. First off its, a rainbow unicorn, so I mean its magical right?

Realistically, if you have a home pool, unless its pretty large size pool, the gigantic pool floats aren't going to be realistic. It will take up the whole pool. But this one, seems pretty reasonable in size and you can site comfortably on top of it making it not only fun, but functional too.

Giant Heart Eyes Emoji Pool Float

What I love about this pool floatie is that its more like a gigantic pool noodle. Its a much colorful, fun awesome pool noodle. 

Poop Inflateable Raft

If you are anything like me, this is in your top 10, if not top 5 used emojis, of all times. So having a matching emoji floatie, makes it that much better. I'm in love with any floatie you can lay across with no difficulty and what I love most about the roundness of this, is that you can fit more than one of you one there at a time. I puffy heart floating with friends!

Pool Party Drink Floats

Speaking of emojis, does this need much talking up, other than, I truly hope this is the only poop ever floating in my pool 🙂

Full Watermelon Slice Floatie

Can I just say NEEDED!! Of course you need drink floats and why not have some cute fruit shaped ones to hold your bevy as you float around the pool. So cute and so useful!

Watermelon Quarter Slice Pool Float

First off... watermelon... yes please! Second, both floaties are super awesome and would be great addition to any  home pool. The full round slice provides a large surface like the emoji face, but you could probably have just as much fun lounging around on the half slice. Just depends on your color preference and surface area!

Pink Donut Pool Float

I feel like over the last year, the donut floaties have become pool floatie staples. I of course love donuts and the pink its just super Summery and fun and although you can probably see them all over the place, they are fun and the absolutely adore them!

Gigantic Rubber Ducky Pool Floaties

Here is another gigantic inflatable floating that I love! I love that is a gigantic rubber ducky and I love that he's wearing shades and I love that its an intertube style like the flamingo. Its fun to float around with your feet hanging in the water. These are fun when watching a dive-in movie or during a party. 

Tootsie Roll Pool Float

Again, I love this candy shaped pool tube. I am a big fan hanging on the tootsie roll while the kid are splashing around. Allows me to be accessible as Mom in the pool, yet still floating around in style!

Ice Cream Cone Floatie

This is more just for fun. The kids absolutely adore this one. I am going to be honest, there isn't a lot of laying on top of it, but there is some straddling the cone and having fun in the sun with this one. Plus, who doesn't love pink ice cream???

Pizza Slice Pool Raft

This is truly one of my favorites in the raft category. You can lay on it, and the crust acts like a pillow. Hello, who doesn't want a pillow? My absolute favorite reason for liking this float, is that it also has built-in cup holders. Winner Winner, pizza dinner!!!

Inflateable Pretzel Pool Float

I love this one because you can fit multiple people in it at one time. I fit in one side and my two kids fit in the other spots and we like to float around together! Its also great because you can lay across the top and float as if it were a raft too. Super versitile.

Giant Ice Pop Pool Float

Popsicles + Raft + Red, White and Blue = EPIC SUMMER floatie for sure! Its fun to lay on, its patriotic, its a popsicle and who doesn't love a popsicle. It really is awesome!

AWESOME POOL FLOATS

When picking pool floats, you really have to think about your circumstances and what is realistic.

If you have little kids, the gigantic pool floats might not be realistic because you are not going to use it as much.

Smaller pool or inflatable pool, then you might want to think about the smartie or tootsie roll and one of the rafts.

If you do not own a pool, you want to make sure you are not having to store a large raft for a one or two time a year use, so you may want to think something a little smaller.
