This past week I go together with a group of my friends and brunched and colored. There is nothing better than a tasty brunch with a group of your friends, am I right? What made this party even better was that it was sponsored by Prismacolor Premier® - you know the makers of the awesome colored pencils and markers and so we got some time to color while we ate, talked and laughed through the morning. FUN FUN!!!
I absolutely love that adult coloring is all the rage right now. I'll let you in on a little secret, I've been coloring for a few years. It is a passion of mine as a maker, but I love that my friends are doing it now and that we can all sit, relax, re-energize from the busy holiday season and color. It was awesome. We each had a coloring book and picked a page and just spent the morning coloring and sipping coffee or mimosa.
Being the wanderluster I am, I found this page with a globe and traveling pictures and was set for the rest of the party!Prismacolor colored pencils and illustration markers are fabulous for coloring and drawing. The pencils are thick and sturdy and the fine tip pens are great for outlining. That's my jam you guys... I am the one that likes to outline dark and thing fill in with the lighter color. They are all great for any project. I love using them when making something for the blog or even coloring with my daughter.
Gosh, there is just something so relaxing about coloring and you know if there is bright colors, they will have me hooked for hours. Such a great day and I can't emphasis enough that you need to have a getting together with your friends soon and have a coloring party! I can't wait to plan another one for my friends soon.
