Hi All!!! I'm so excited because it's been in the works for a bit, but wanted to let you know
DIAPERS-n-HEELS is growing up!
When I started this blog 4 years ago (time flies), I was in a different place than I am today. I've grown and changed and navigated this crazy happy world and feel like I've started to understand more about who I am and my voice I've made in the world. So knowing all that, I wanted to let you all know that Diapers-n-Heels will be changing our name. Eeek!
I've told a few friends I was changing my name and so I figured you most likely are having the same questions or thoughts they did, so here is what I got from them...
- Are your children out of Diapers? Actually they aren't, but someday they will!!
- Just have another baby and you can keep the name for a few more years! Although having another little isn't out of the question(eeek), I know it needs to change and I hate having things lingering over my head... I'm a rip the band-aid off kind of girl
- Are you changing what you're writing about on your blog? NOPE! Same me, just with a jazzier name that doesn't hold me back and lots lots more to bring you!!!
- You don't like the name Diapers-n-Heels? ABSOLUTELY NOT the case. I freaking love the name DNH. I just think we're growing up and we need a big girl name that down the road you aren't super confused by 50 year old me with a Diapers name! (Don't even try and do the age math there... :))
Ok, ok, ok... I know you're thinking, what is the name Alli???
Well... You're going to have to hold tight just a bit longer for that announcement :-). I'm off spending some quality HAPPY time with my family and when I get back, I'll have the full time frame for the transition to be MADEall laid out and ready to share. I really hope you hang around and travel on this journey with me. Can't wait to hear your thoughts on the news!!
