How To Make an Easy Shamrock Craft
Start by downloading the shamrock template below.
Provide different card stock or construction paper in different colors and let your child rip a large piece of each. Ripping paper is excellent for fine motor development in younger kids and they have so much fun it too!
Glue each piece to a plain white card stock. Make sure to cover the entire white paper and none of it peeks through. Then, cut out the shamrock template and trace it onto black card stock. Glue the shamrock on top of the colorful papers and you're done!
The contrast of the black shamrock on the colorful background is so beautiful! I love lots of bright colors but you can make the background any colors you like. You can also use patterned paper for a cool collage effect.
