When does something become a tradition? After two times? I hope so, otherwise I would I feel kind of silly saying that us making gingerbread houses is a tradition with it only being Sydney's third Christmas. (that was a really long sentence) Whether its technically been done enough time, I'm calling it one! =) This past weekend we had a lot of fun TRYING to making one heck of a Gingerbread House. Notice the emphasis on trying? Every year (for the past three years) we have used one of those pre-made ginger bread houses that seem so easy because they already have cookies made and in the shapes you need for a house. Great huh? WRONG! I don't know how other people do it, but the roof on that thing has never once stayed on. We try and we try, and this year I even busted out the toothpicks to get it stay. NO GO.
Regardless, we had tons of fun trying!
Do you and your family make gingerbread houses?
