Hello my friends and HAPPY Daylight Savings time. I'm not going to lie, the time change hit me the hardest in our family. I've been dragging for the last couple days. How about you? Your house have some dragging?
I am ready for Spring and Easter and I can't contain it anymore. I went on a hunt for some tulips a few days ago and there were slim pickins that is for sure! I finally found these little ladies at Home Depot. I knew I loved you HD!!!
In any case, I was cruising through Michaels getting some supplies for a few other projects. I know... always got something going... and came across these grey burlap canvases. I may have made a screeching sound in excitement. I do love me some grey burlap. I knew immediately what I wanted to do with it. Super simple ombre bunny!

Here is how I did it.
Ombre Burlap Bunny Craft Supplies
- Grey Burlap Canvas (9x12)
- Sponge
- Vinyl Bunny Stencil
- Three different shades of pink paint & white
- Yarn (optional) - I initially thought it would be fun to make a pom-pom tail and glue it on bunny, but MWH Girl came over and was like... no tail Mommy
Directions:
I found a bunny stencil on Silhouette for 50 cents, so I went with that. You could also simply print out a bunny on paper, cut it out, and use a pencil to draw your bunny on lightly. However, you can get a stencil on the burlap, go for it.I started at the ears with the darker pink and made my way down the bunny, mixing the colors together and some white. Continue to paint till you are happy with the look. Once its dried, then remove the stencil, and bam, there you have it.
