Today is World Animal Day, and I for one am not only excited to celebrate it, but more importantly excited to spread the awareness of the mission behind it.

To us, all animals are important and their lives are important. Whether it be large elephants that need protection from poachers, or bunnies at your local animal shelter. There are so many things we can do to help protect the animals of our planet.
If you recall, I wrote a piece on 8 Ways to Get Involved a while back, and in there I give you some great ideas to help. What is really important is to start with raising your awareness. It could be as simple as recycling your water bottles so that they do not end up in the ocean or as big as organizing an event in your community. Every bit helps!!! P.S. This is me cleaning out the seal's habitat. 🙂
Animals make our lives HAPPY.
