Today we're showing you a pretty quick tutorial for these adorable Burlap Christmas Trees

    Supplies

    burlap-trees

I found most of the supplies at Walmart or the dollar store.

    • Two foam trees (dollar store)
    • Two foam bases (dollar store)
    • Glitter spay (dollar store)
    • Green Burlap Ribbon (Walmart)
    • Green Striped Straws (Walmart)

It didn't take but a few sprays of the glitter spray to realize it wasn't going to give the project the color I was looking for, so I busted out my new favorite  Krylon Short Cuts Gold Spray -- how cute are these little cans?

    Directions

First spray the bases. You could also cover them in a fun fabric easily with a little glue.

I decided based on the width of the burlap ribbon that I would cut it into strips and hot glue to the foam tree. I cut the straw in half and inserted one half easily into the bottom of the tree and then into the base.

I happened to have this star garland hanging around, so I cut off the large stars and used them as tree toppers.

Viola, you have yourself some pretty cute décor for just a few dollars.
