How Word Searches are Played
The way to play a word search puzzle is fairly simple. Download the printable puzzle down below. Print it out. Grab a marker or highlighter and you are on your way.
There is a list of words below the puzzle. Search the puzzle for the words on the list below. The words are spread throughout the puzzle. The words could be hidden in the word search puzzle going left to right, right to left, top to bottom, bottom to top, or diagonally.

How to search for a word on a page?
We found that the best way to search for a word on a page is to use your finger or the end of your pen or pencil to help you search for your word. Start at the top and move from side to side looking for the first letter of your word. Then when you find that letter, see if the second letter is in any of the spaces around the first letter. Continue row by row through the letters till you find your word.
Once you found the word you were looking for, use a pencil or pen to circle your word. If you are using a highlighter, then you would mark the top of the word.
