For this project, I wanted to show you that you can create a customized DIY Holiday Decor piece that goes with all the colors that you are decorating with at your house. I found this picture frame at my local Goodwill. After speaking with the gentleman working there, and explaining that I was really just looking for the frame, he gave it to me for $4! SCORE! I simply spray painted the frame with a white semi-gloss paint.I bought a container of these plastic holiday light ornaments at my local craft supply store. I placed two colors in each of the ornaments and then with a cotton swab swirled the paint around the ornament creating a marbling effect.
Then using a simple white thread, I tied one end to the ornament and then cut each the pieces long enough to have the ornaments hang within the frame. Then with a simple tack, I pinned to the back of the frame and wrapped the string around it.You have yourself a simple DIY Holiday Decor full of color and HAPPY.
