    Hi friends! Happy Thursday!

Hope your October is going great and that you're gearing up for a fun and HAPPY Halloween. I know I've alluded to it about, but I've been all over the map, both figuratively and literally. I really hope that the crazy busy is over and that we can get back to some fun HAPPY awesomeness.

Okay, so I have a bit of a confession. For those that know me, know I'm a bit of a geek. I mean, I'm not on Google's Hot 100 to watch or anything, but I like to stay current with trends and technology.

We all know emojis righ? Those cute little faces and icons were seeing everywhere. Okay, so I know that there are short cuts to creating them on the computer 🙂 but when they started showing up in Instagram and texts, I was a bit baffled. I know. You are probably dying laughing right now. To be honest, I hadn't done a lick of research on them, but just kind of assumed it was an app. So I generally use a simple colon right parenthesis for when I'm HAPPY and left parenthesis when I'm sad.

About a year ago, my mother-n-law got a new phone. It was about then I started to see even more of them with cute little wine glasses and flags and such showing up in her text. When we got together this summer, I asked her about the emojis and if she had an app. She's explained that they were included in her keyboard of her phone. Still confused, I chalked it up to the difference between an Android and an iPhone.

I know what you are thinking right now... and you are right. I've lost all techy credit for at least the next 5 years. Anywho, it was not until two weeks ago. I KNOW!!!!! Two weeks ago, while I was on a girls trip that another friend asked about emojis and what app she needed on her iphone to use them. I laughed and quickly jumped in too. Our other friend laughed for a few seconds thinking we were kidding and then with a straight face... ARE YOU KIDDING ME?

On your iPhone. Go to Settings --> General --> Keyboards --> Add New Keyboard --> Emoji

STOP IT RIGHT NOW! Are you kidding me? Its that easy?

Now on my phone there is a little globe at the bottom of my keyboard and there they are. DOH!
