This week I made a delicious Cranberry Ginger Cocktail as part of a sponsored post for Socialstars & Sweet’N Low #SweetNLowStars.
Its November and in just a few short weeks we are all going to be sitting down with our friends and family and giving Thanks. Thanksgiving happens to be one of my absolute favorites as you can imagine. You get a day hanging with your favorite people, cooking up a delicious meal on your fine china all the while sipping on something delicious.
While thinking about Thanksgiving and coming up with a deliciously yummy cocktail for the occasion, I keep thinking of the beauty of cranberries.
The only thing is that cranberry juice cocktails are typically sweet and to be honest I’m usually done after one and suffering from a sugar hangover the next day. Then I discovered pure cranberry juice (not from concentrate). This is a more potent unsweetened juice from cranberries. YES! So after some testing in the Made with HAPPY kitchen we came up with the most delicious cocktail that you will be sipping on all Thanksgiving Day long… I know I will.
- 1 oz vodka
- 1/4 cup Pure Cranberry Juice (not from concentrate)
- 1 cup Cherry Ginger Beer
- 1 packet of Sweet’N Low – Adds just enough sweetness while making the drink guilt free and diabetic friendly.
- handful of cranberries (raw or frozen)
- a few lime slices
Add some ice to your glass along with the cranberries and limes. Mix in the vodka, cranberry juice and ginger beer and Sweet’N Low. Add a straw and enjoy! Your Thanksgiving guest are going to be coming back for more! I guarantee it! Cheers!
