Hello friends. I know I have been talking and teasing about the finished Office Project for quite some time, but I've been lagging about pulling together the full room photos.
While I double dog promise that I will get those pictures taken soon, I thought I'd share one of my favorite piece of the room, my slat wall.
We had an empty wall over our craft table that was just yearning for a great craft wall. I've seen a ton of different walls made from peg board and although its a great option, I tend to like the sleekness and modernness of the slat wall.
We found this slat wall kit
and knew it would be perfect for the space. Then using base boards, we painted them gold, cut them to scale, and created a frame around the slat wall, making it look like a hanging picture.
Then using peg hooks, we were able to hang different containers and items. Are you loving up on the thread holder as much as I am? I have a full tutorial HERE.
On our wall, we're able to hang wrapping paper, tapes, glitters, paints, scissors, paint brushes, and more. We also built our own thread holder out of a picture frame. This space is constantly changing and growing and we even added a few clear slatwall shelves. I'm in love with this wall and definitely recommend it for anyone looking to go vertical with your craft space.
