Now that the snow has melted and the flowers are starting to bloom, it's time to give your home a refresh. Spring is here! This printable spring cleaning checklist provides a room-by-room checklist of what you and your family need to do to deep clean and tidy up those spaces that might have become unruly in the long winter.
While there are only a few lucky people that enjoy cleaning, there are ways to make it fun and quicker if you are pressed for time.
The biggest tip I have is to start with one room at a time and delegate. Get the family involved and have them work with you. If they are old enough, give them the checklist and have them each tackle a room.
Grab your hot water, baking soda, and microfiber cloths, and let's get to it.

What is important to remember is that it is grim and gook luring deep inside your machines too. Glisten products are highly effective at thoroughly cleaning, freshening, and bringing out the peak performance of your dishwasher, washing machines, cooktops, and garbage disposers. Their products eliminate hard-water build-up which we all know can have an odor and decreases the performance of our appliances too.
I love that they do all that with ingredients powered by nature and make it EASY on us by doing all the work for us! My favorite kind of cleaning!

One of the most overlooked places in each of the rooms is the baseboards and trim. Remember when cleaning these to keep the type of paint used in mind. Certain paints can hold dirt differently.
Also, remember all the curtains and rugs. These should be washed and cleaned.

If your house is anything like ours, then the fridge gets dirty pretty quickly. If you can clean it top to bottom more than once a year, then when you do the deep clean in the Spring, it will not take as long.

Other Spring Cleaning Tips
If there is one thing we learned from the Quarantine of 2020 is that there are a lot of touchpoints throughout your house on a daily basis. There are germs and oils and things that you touch every day that do not always get the attention that some of the bigger items do within your house. Make sure that your phones, your tablets, your keyboards, your light fixtures, and your knobs get disinfected regularly.
For those that are pet owners. Let's not forget to clean their beds and eating areas within our cleaning as well. Making sure to clean under major appliances, sofas, and bookshelves. Pet hair can gather under those places.
After Cleaning Tip
One thing we like to remind our children (and the occasional adult :)) after we clean is that everything has a place. Reminding them that when they take a toy out to play with, it should go back to its place. If something does not have a place to live, then it will forever be moving around your house as clutter. Those are the items that often get thrown out or donated at our house.
