Color By Number Spring
In the Spring time, I love finding ways to brighten up our home in the Spring using my children’s artwork. Last Spring, my children painted rainbows of all sizes and colors. I hung them across the wall as a display gallery. Not only did this brighten up our home, but my children loved seeing their work displayed proudly.
These color-by-number coloring pages would be a fun Spring themed activity for children. Activities that are fun and educational are my favorite as a homeschooling mama. Your children can practice number recognition and color recognition.
Color-by-number activities also help with fine motor skills. While these are more preschool worksheets, any age of child or adult can join in on the fun of coloring Spring pictures of ladybugs, mushrooms, birds, umbrellas, kites, and more.

Benefits of Color by Number
Two main benefits are obtained when working on a color-by-number worksheet. Children will begin to learn that numbers can be used for more than just counting, they can be used for symbolizing an activity, color, or more.
The second benefit is seeing the “bigger picture”. When first starting color-by-number worksheets, you don’t start seeing the picture as a whole, but as you add more colors, you see the picture come together. Learning not to give up and trying to see the “bigger picture” will benefit children past coloring.
As mentioned above, worksheets like this, help with fine motor skills. Fine Motor Skills help with the smaller muscles in the hands. Color-by-number worksheets are beneficial, educational, and a lot of HAPPY fun!
