Week 2 of Bachelor in Paradise consisted of two episodes: one Monday and one on Tuesday. It's the same thing next week, too! A lot of things went down and I can't wait to talk about it! And of course share a new drink mashup for you. I have to warn you: this post is a long one.

Night 1/Episode 2
This week is a continuation of last week when Chad got kicked off the show. *jumps up and down*
The first new contestant to arrive is Leah, from Ben's season. I did not like her at all. She made up lies and started drama. So we'll see how this goes...
She did arrive with a date card, however which got very interesting very fast. She said that she knew exactly who she would ask because her and this guy had a lot in common. Long story short, she asks the group is they know where CHAD is. OMG. So funny.
She ends up asking Nick, which hits Amanda a little bit because her and Nick had been into each other. Leah and Nick end up kissing on their date, which surprised me because Nick didn't really seem that into her. That ended up being true because he got back and sort of forgot about Leah.
As soon as they return from their date, another date card arrives. Guess who it's for? NICK! Hilarious! Of course, as I expected, he asked Amanda. Their date goes great, they make out, the night ends.
But late at night a few more couples hit it off... Carly and Evan talk for a while and then they kiss. Evan goes on and on about how great it was and then Carly says it was terrible. HAHA. Lace and Graham are into each other again, and Sarah makes the move to finally sit down and hang out with Vinny. But Vinny does kiss both Izzy and Sarah shortly before the rose ceremony.
Jared gives his rose to Emily, which also saves her twin sister, Haley. Carly gets Evan's rose as expected and Vinny ends up giving his rose to Izzy, which really upset me because I was hoping it would go to Sarah. Nick gave his rose to Amanda, Daniel gave his rose to Sarah (thank God), Graham gave his to Lace, and the two remaining women were Jubilee and Leah. So happy Leah went home.
The next day, Josh (from Andi's season) shows up. Him and Andi actually got engaged on the show and broke up not too long after. He arrived with a date card and he talks to a few different girls before choosing Amanda. Oops. Nick's girl. And if you don't remember, Nick and Josh were the last two guys on Andi's season and she ended up choosing Josh. So as you can imagine, their relationship with each other is a little tense.
Evan gets the next date card and he asks Carly. I really thought she was going to say no because she's been avoiding him and how there was no chemistry. Their date includes beating the world record for longest, hottest kiss. (Eating a habanero pepper and kissing for at least a minute and 30 seconds). They broke it. Whoa.
Jared and Emily finally kiss.
Josh and Amanda's date goes well. Like really well. They get back and can't stop kissing each other. In front of Nick. Eck. And of course that's how the episode ends but luckily we don't have to wait another week. The next episode is the next day.
Night 2/Episode 3
New contestant alert!! Christian (JoJo's season) comes in, of course, with a date card. After talking to the guys a little bit about some of the already existing relationships, he chooses to take Sarah on his date. It went great, but when she came back she has a great conversation with Daniel and she seems to like him more than Christian.
Carly finally tells Evan that she isn't attracted to him and he breaks his poor little heart.
Perfect timing, another guy shows up. Brandon, from Desiree's season, who no one remembers. I vaguely remember his face but no one there knows him, which is funny but awkward. Carly thinks he's hot of course. But he ends up asking Haley (one of the twins) to go on his date. Emily and Haley decide to trick Brandon and do a little switch-a-roo during the date to see if he can tell the difference between them. HE FAILED EPICLY.
Speaking of failures, Evan decides that since him and Carly didn't work out, he's going to make a move on Amanda. Amanda. Yes, Amanda. First Nick, then Josh. And after making out with Josh all day, Evan decides she's the girl he should go after. No judgement here but I wouldn't have advised him to do that if I were there.
But of course, it ends with Evan walking up to Josh and Amanda and trying to steal her away. Another "To Be Continued..."
Alright, now for the good stuff!
The alcohol!
The Lemon No. 7 with a HAPPY twist
This one is incredibly easy!! In the traditional Lemon No. 7, the recipe calls for lemon-lime soda and trip-sec. We're replaceing that with lemonade.
Ingredients:
- Jack Daniel's whiskey
- lemonade
- lemons for garnish
All you do is combine 1 part whiskey with 2 parts lemonade and pour over ice. Add some lemon wedges and you are good to go! So yummy & refreshing!
