Looking for a fun last-minute DIY Christmas gift that is easy and cute? Then we've got you covered with this glitter heart mug gift.
Last Minute Handmade Gift
Please tell me I'm not the only one that is in need of some last-minute gifts.
I love to make hand-crafted gifts (I know... made with HAPPY right?) The challenge becomes something that doesn't take a lot of time to make but still has a hand-made feel.
If Christmas is right around the corner, we've got you covered!
With the help of ConsumerCrafts.com, I came up with this super cute last-minute gift
Here's how you make this cutie.
- Mason Jar Mug
- Dishwasher Safe Mod Podge
- Gold Glitter
- Gold Sequins
- Clear Treat Bag
- Bakers Twine
- Small Paint Brush
- Red Straw
- Homemade gift (cookies or treats)
Using your sharpie draw a heart on the front.
With your brush, apply a liberal layer of mod podge to your heart.
Pour on the glitter over a piece of paper to catch the excess.
Wipe away any excess glitter from the heart.
Let dry for an hour or so. Then using the same brush, apply the modge-podge over the top of the heart.
Let dry overnight. Add the sequins to the bottom of your mug. Add some of your favorite bite-size cookies to the treat bag and tie it up in a ribbon and twine. You have yourself a cute little mug gift idea that is cheap and easy.
