If you have empty toilet paper rolls or paper towel rolls don't get rid of them just yet. Reuse them for crafts! You can easily turn those paper rolls into a heart stamp for Valentine's Day art for kids. To make a heart, fold the paper roll in half the long way until you see the curves of a heart. If you the roll isn't holding its shape, consider taping one of the ends closed. It'll help keep the shape on the opposite end.
You can also cut larger paper rolls into smaller pieces to make more than one stamp at a time. This is great for working with more than one child on this activity.
Easy Valentine's Day Craft using Paper Roll Heart Stamp
Let your child paint their paper using watercolor and set it aside to dry.
Create paper roll heart stamps and set out a desired paint color.
Encourage your child to dip the heart into the paint and stamp it on the paper. They can do it as many times as they want to fill the space.
Optional but very fun touch, use a paintbrush and lightly dip in the paint. Then flick the bristles over the paper to "sprinkle" paint all over.
When completely dry, hang up and enjoy!
I love how this craft turns out and you can even use it as a card or wrapping paper. How fun would it be to give Valentine's gift to someone wrapped in special paper your kids made?!
