There are many reasons to opt for printable New Year’s hats. For one, they are free! You just have to download and print them. Secondly, your kids will love coloring these festive hats to prepare for the New Year’s Eve party.

I have designed a set of beautiful printable New Year’s hat templates with a few things in mind. Firstly, to create crafts for kids that they would genuinely enjoy. Secondly, coloring is a healthy activity for kids that improves their hand-eye coordination and helps enhance their fine motor skills for better physical and cognitive development.

And lastly, we all need some New Year’s Eve activities to keep our kids busy so that we can prepare for the New Year’s Eve party.

How to Put Together Our Printable New Year’s Hats?

On the website, you will only find the New Years party hats template you can download and print. However, you will have to put the printable party hats together once the kids are done coloring. Here are some ways to do so:

Method 1: You can hole punch on both ends of the hat template and tie an elastic band or ribbon to secure it on your child’s head. This is a perfect way to adjust for different sizes.

Method 2: You can roll the hat template to create a conical shape, and hot glue the ends together to hold it in place. Another option is to add pom poms on the top to make a cute hat. Punch holes at both sides of the hat and tie an elastic band or ribbon so that it stays put when your kids put it on.
