Facts About Saturn
Saturn is not just any planet - it's like the superstar of the solar system! Did you know that Saturn is the sixth planet from the sun and second-largest planet and is famous for its dazzling rings? These rings are made up of billions of ice particles and bits of rock, making Saturn look like it's wearing a beautiful belt in space!
Another cool fact about Saturn is that it's a gas giant, which means it's made mostly of gas instead of solid ground like Earth. So if you were to visit Saturn (which would be an adventure of a lifetime!), you wouldn't be able to stand on its surface like you do on Earth.
Instead, you'd float around like an astronaut in space! Isn't that amazing? So, when you're drawing Saturn, remember to add those stunning rings and imagine yourself floating among the stars like a real space explorer!

How To Draw Saturn
The first step is to start with the Saturn's rings. We like to draw them in a C-like shape... a backward C.
The second step is to draw the circle of the planet.
The next step is to draw two wavy lines creating a band across the planet.
The final step is to draw thorn-like shapes from each side of the planet through the planet giving it dimension. Two from each side is plenty.
The last step is to treat your Saturn drawing as a coloring page and color it in with your favorite crayons, colored pencils, markers, or even watercolor paint. Viola, you have a great looking Saturn drawing.
