I have a confession! I am obsessed with grapefruit cocktails. It has become my mixer of choice when I'm out and try and have a grapefruit on hand at home.

Grapefruit Rum Cocktail

Rum Grapefruit Cocktail are perfect balance of tart grapefruit and coconut resulting in a delicious pink colored cocktail.

While some might thing the citrus makes this feel like a Summer drink, I would have to disagree. Grapefruit is just tart enough, and not as bright and citrus-y as oranges and lemons, to make it more of an all year around fruit.

Now that I am #$%# year old 🙂 I can see why my grandparents would partake in a grapefruit each morning...they are awesome!

In any case, I've been trying out all the liquors with grapefruit and coming up with some yummy cocktails for your next party.

This week is the rum grapefruit cocktail and man am I excited for the deliciousness.

Ingredients

Rum
Coconut Cream
Fresh Grapefruit Juice (Red Grapefruit is my favorite)
Grenadine

Grapefruit Cocktail

Garnish with a slice of grapefruit and rosemary sprig and viola, you have yourself a delicious grapefruit cocktail.
