You thought I was joking when I told you I’ve got your no-carve pumpkin ideas coming all this week. We are a family that loves Halloween and particularly loves decorating pumpkins.
The challenge being that carving pumpkins needs to be done closer to Halloween so that you don’t have yourself a wilted molding looking pumpkin come the night of. So what is a family to do the other three weeks of our favorite month? Non-carve options… obviously!
Why not paint your pumpkins. (Did I also mention that we’re kookoo for rainbows?
can be so much fun for the kids and give them the ability to bring their imaginations to life.
- Paint Brushes
Only thing I recommend is that you cover up your table with a table cloth you don’t mind getting paint on.
We are fancy in our paint palates and use paper plates.
Arm your little one with a brush and let their imaginations run wild. We named this little guy bow… short for rainbow (of course)
We even got a little crazy and added some glitter (from our glitter pumpkin project) to our painted ones. Wooh! If your kids are anything like my little ones, they love to paint and get their hands dirty and create something beautiful. Encourage the creativity. Its a wonderful thing to watch.
