Since the concept of a reading log is easy, there isn't a lot to remember when it comes to using it. The one thing that I do think is important is that you should use these as a way to encourage the kids to want to read. Make it fun and lighthearted so that they don't dread reading. The whole point of this fun reading challenge is to keep them loving reading!
If it suddenly becomes stressful, they're going to have a hard time staying motivated and might even revolt in reading - which would be a shame!
Make Reading a Fun Family Activity
The biggest thing to remember is that reading books are something that never goes out of style. It's an activity that the kids and you can easily do. These reading logs can be printed out for all ages to enjoy. In fact, why not use one for everyone in the family? This could be the perfect way to find great books and then take the time to talk all about them.
Having a family reading club sounds like a really fun thing to do!
Use these fun printable reading logs to think of ways to keep everyone interested in reading. This is also the perfect way to talk to the kids about reading new books that they might not have thought they'd like! Talk about the perfect way to embrace new books, new titles, and new authors!
