Easter Celebrations

Easter is a super exciting time of year filled with lots of fun traditions! One of the coolest parts about Easter is the Easter Bunny, who hops around bringing treats to kids everywhere. And you know what else? Decorating Easter eggs is a big part of the celebration! We get to use real eggs and paint them in all sorts of pretty colors. It's so much fun to see our Easter baskets filled with these colorful eggs, along with yummy chocolate treats from the Easter Bunny!

But wait, there's more! Another awesome tradition is the Easter Egg Hunt, where we search high and low for hidden eggs. It's like going on a treasure hunt right in our own backyard! And guess what? We can even draw our own Easter eggs to make the hunt even more exciting. So, let's grab our crayons and get ready for an egg-cellent Easter adventure filled with creativity and fun!

Easy Easter Egg Drawing

Fun simple Easter Egg drawing with step-by-step instructions is a great way for kids of all ages to follow along and create their own egg shape drawing. Each step is broken into steps with a basic shape or a curved line, nothing too complicated.

It isn't until the budding artist starts to just draw, that they realize how freeing it can be to create something with your or their hand. The best way to start is to just do it!

Before starting to draw and the Easter fun, we also want to ensure you have the right tools. Here are the drawing piece of paper, and drawing pencils, we like to use.

Egg Shape

The first step is to draw an oval egg shape. An egg shape is slightly smaller at the top and wider at the bottom.

The next step is to draw a rounded pedal-like shape from the top of the egg.

Next, draw another flower shape at the bottom of your easter egg.

Draw slightly curved lines along the inside of the egg. This will give the elusion that they are straight stripes around the egg.

Lastly, add some small circles through the middle band of the egg.

Now you have your own cute Easter Egg. You can trace over the lines you have drawn in pencil with a black Sharpie marker.

Coloring Easter Egg Drawing

The last step is to color your egg with vibrant colors and make different patterns super cute and unique! Grab your colored pencils, markers, or even fun to paint in your new drawing with tempera paints.
