How to Make a DIY Puzzle Heart Canvas
To make this Valentine's Day craft, you only need a canvas, puzzle pieces, a pencil, and hot glue. I promise, this looks super fancy but it's so easy anyone can do it.
I found some gradient puzzles for $2.25 from Five Below last year but I'm linking some similar options below from Amazon. You can also use any old puzzle you have laying around and paint the pieces, as well as plain puzzles like the ones linked below.
Start by drawing a heart shape on the canvas using a pencil.
Then, trace the line you drew with the hot glue and add puzzle pieces as you go along the line.
When you're done with the outline, fill in the inside of the heart with puzzle pieces.
Continue adding pieces overlapping each other until you're satisfied with how it looks.
Valentine's Day Gifts
When you're done, give your masterpiece to someone special as a gift or hang it in your home for yourself. You can even make a few in different color schemes and varying canvas sizes to accent areas of your house.
While this isn't necessarily a "kid craft", kids can certainly still make it!
As I mentioned, any age and any skill lever crafter will love this and that includes children. Of course, with younger kids, adult supervision is recommended with the hot glue.
They can still assist in adding puzzle pieces to the canvas while older kids and teens can take this DIY on their own.
