While strolling through everyone’s favorite store… you know the one I spend way too much money at and it rhymes with Sharget. While perusing, we stumbled on a big bag of sorted colored balloons for a few dollars! Bingo! How fun would it be to have a big ol’ Rainbow Balloon Arch outside from when the kids get home from school?
So easy, so pretty and a great way to get in the St. Patrick’s Day Spirit!
The arch is pretty simple to make, but in case you’re curious, here’s how you do it!
Supplies:
- Rainbow Balloons – 4 of each color
- Yarn
- Hot Air or Air Pump
Directions:
For ours we simply blew up four balloon of each of the rainbow colors. I found a few gold colored balloons for the gold at the end of the rainbow and some white for the clouds.
Starting at one end of the yarn and tie a knot around the bottom knot of the balloon. Give yourself just an inch or two down the yarn and then tie the next balloon and work your way down the rainbow. This should come as no surprise, but balloons make us HAPPY and balloon arches make us even more HAPPY. They are so easy to make and the kids adore them. You should try one out and have it waiting for your kids when they get home from school this St. Patrick’s Day!Have a great St. Patrick’s Day
