How The Grinch Stole Christmas

It's the holiday season and time to watch all the fun family movies! One of my all-time favorites is How The Grinch Stole Christmas and I get so excited about it every year.

Based on the Dr. Seuss book of the same name, this is one of the best movies! Have some Grinch fun with these great templates!

To make the movie experience more special, I created The Grinch treat box for candy and popcorn. Using the template, you too can make this box and use it to celebrate The Grinch with your family. Makes for a great Christmas activity.

How to Make The Grinch Treat Box

It's so easy to DIY this treat box using my templates. You will only need card stock in the color of your choice for the box and white for The Grinch faces. You will also need scissors and tape or glue.

Now that you have the printables, cut out the box. Follow the dark lines for cutting and use the dotted lines to know where to fold. I made 4 boxes and used different colored card stock to make it fun. To secure the box, use a piece of tape or glue. The last step is cutting out The Grinch's face and adding it to the box.

Now you're ready to fill it with any treats you like! I did popcorn and sprinkled in some Christmas candy. These are the perfect little treats to enjoy while watching How The Grinch Stole Christmas for family movie night.

Give small gifts/treats to neighbors and friends to brighten their day.
Use as part of a Grinch-themed gift box. Fill a "movie night" gift box with The Grinch DVD, book, popcorn bag, chocolates, candies, and a blanket and add some of these boxes. It's a cute gift idea and adding this DIY gives it a personal touch.
Make a few boxes and play Christmas games with your kids. Line boxes on the floor and let kids throw marshmallows or pom poms to earn points. This is an easy game you can put together to combat boredom during winter break.
