Paper Plate Lion Craft Supplies
- Paper Plates
- Yellow Paint
- Brown Paint
- Black Marker
- Red Marker
- String
- Googly Eyes
- Scissors

How To Make a Lion Out of a Paper Plate
Now let's get started on this fun lion craft.
Start with painting the front of the paper plate. We painted it yellow, but you could also use orange paint.
Lion's Mane
Next using brown paint, paint the outside of the paper plate (the rim of the plate) leaving the middle of the paper plate yellow.
Lion's Face
Using a bit of glue on each of the wiggle eyes, glue them to the center of the plate.
For the lion's nose, draw a red heart in the center of the paper plate.
Next, using a black marker draw on a mouth and eyebrows.
Lastly, cut your string or yarn into 1-2 inch pieces. Glue three pieces on each side of the nose as whiskers.
Viola, you have the cutest paper plate lion craft for kids of all ages!
