Month of July
The month of July is all about sunshine, summer fun, and celebrations! It's the seventh month of the year and is known for being one of the warmest months in the Northern Hemisphere-perfect for beach days, picnics, and outdoor adventures.
Did you know July was named after Julius Caesar? Or that July is National Ice Cream Month and National Picnic Month? With so many reasons to smile, it's the perfect time to enjoy fun holidays, get creative, and make happy memories with the kids all month long!
July Federal Holidays
There is only one federal holiday in July is Independence Day, celebrated on July 4th with fireworks, parades, and patriotic fun. It's a day to honor America's birthday and spend time with family and friends enjoying all things red, white, and blue! On this day, federal employees typically get the day off to join in the celebration.

4th of July
July 4th is one of the most exciting public holidays of the summer, and it's packed with fun facts kids will love!
Did you know that the Declaration of Independence was adopted on July 2nd, but July 4th became the day we celebrate it? Or that Americans eat around 150 million hot dogs on Independence Day each year?
The first Fourth of July fireworks were launched in 1777, and the Liberty Bell is tapped (not rung!) every year on this special day. Learning these cool facts adds a little extra spark to the celebration!
