I would love to receive this 3D Paper Cactus Craft gift.
I am not only a huge fan of creating cool crafts out of paper, but can we all just agree that this is one plant that we will actually be able to keep alive?
No watering, no sunlight, and no real "care" needed to take care of this paper cactus is exactly what I need in my life right about now. (and since it's not real, I do not have to worry about the kiddos prickling their fingers on it, either! I call that a win!)
Paper Cactus
With summer literally right around the corner, now is the time to make this fun cactus craft. You can even have the kids whip them up to hand them out to your family and friends.
Because, after all...who would not want a plant that they do not have to worry about, ever?
This paper cactus craft is a simple craft and a maintenance-free gift!

How to Make Each Cacti
Use the PDF templates to cut out the cactus. Cut out more than two pieces for each plant.
Fold the pieces in half.
Take one of the half-folded cacti, and apply glue on one half.
Then take another half-folded piece and glue it with the half-glued side.
Similarly, glue the rest of the half-folded pieces.
How to Make Plant Pot
Cut out the circular shape from the template using card-stock paper, then cut out a long strip using the same card-stock paper.
Then glue the strip around the circular piece, and allow the glue to dry completely.
Cactus Paper Crafts For Kids
For the final step, apply glue to the bottom of the cactus, then glue it to the pot/vase.
Add any flowers you would like and viola, you have yourself the cutest paper cactus this side of the dessert.
What I love the most about this craft is that it's made out of simple paper and glue. No tissue paper or hot glue which makes it harder for kids to do the craft independently.
