Its Summer and if you’re house is anything like us, we have some down time. You know the hour before dinner and you’ve spent the day swimming and riding bikes and playing dress up and climbing trees and you all just kind of want to sit down. Am I right?
Yes, we all know I am a crafter and so I happen to have lots of crazy craft supplies, but honestly, next time you’re at the Dollar Tree, you should stock up on some fun items from their craft aisle and buy a little plastic bin while you’re there and you too can have your very own craft closet! Perfect for moments when the kids just need to sit a little, but need to have something keeping them busy.
Remember that fun Valentines Pom Pom Garland I made? Well, I had a ton of extra pom pom left over and so we decided that it would be fun to have the kids make
Pom Pom Butterflies
- Pom Poms
- Scissors (I added a decorative scissor for some fun)
- Glue (White or Glue Stick)
Sit your favorite knuckleheads down, even if they don’t want to pose for a picture 🙂 Draw a simple butterfly on the color paper. You may need to help the smaller ones with the scissors but for the older ones, let them at it!We had some butterflies with just a few pom pom and others that were loaded up. The kids love creating their own master pieces. Easy, fun inexpensive craft that kids can do all year long!
