Supplies For Halloween Handprint Spider Craft
Today I'm showing you the super cute and simple
In terms of supplies, there isn't a whole lot you'll need.
- Paper (white, orange, or purple are fun)
- Black Paint
- Paint Brush
- Googly Eyes
- Glue
- Marker
How to Make a Handprint Spider
First, you start by using the paintbrush and paint your child's palm and fingers with the black paint. Do not paint the thumb.
Add a good amount and have your child press quickly onto the paper. If you wait, it will dry. For best results, hold your child's hand in place as they press
Do the same to the other handprint in the opposite direction and turn the paper.
So much fun playing in paint!
Off to wash hands. By the time your little one is back from washing their hands, the paint should have almost dried, and it's time to add the googly eyes.
Just a dot on the back of each of the eyes and let them add them. With a black marker, you can add a web to the top of the spider as well as the kids’ names and date.
You can also draw on a spider web in orange or black and you have yourself the cutest little HALLOWEEN decoration for the house.
We mounted it to a piece of orange construction paper and displayed it on our wall. You can also cut it out and tape it to your mantle or somewhere where it looks like it's hanging.
The kids love it and it's so simple. Just the way we like it.
