The Importance of Reading with Your Child
While this easy paper craft is awesome and fun, let's not overlook the fact of how important it is to read with your child, or to have them read something every single day.
Reading is really one of the most important building blocks to your child's learning. And it's also a fun way to watch their minds grow and their confidence soar, too. The more that your child reads, the more that they'll be interested in learning more and more words as well.
This is also true for you reading to them. It doesn't take much to read to them and have them engaged and interested in the words. Plus, reading is a great excuse for more snuggle time together, too!
Fun Ways to Use this Halloween Bookmark
While using a bookmark is pretty straightforward and simple, you can also find some unique ways to share this Halloween craft. Have the kiddos make up a bunch and hand them out during trick or treating or even make some for their friends and send them in the mail.
It's pretty obvious that everyone in the family needs one of these bookmarks too so it just makes sense that you just whip up a few so that everyone can keep their pages in their books easily. Because we all know that the truly scary "monsters" are the ones that bend their book pages to mark their spot!
