How To Make Button Flowers
Making button flowers is so easy kids will love it. Start by cutting craft sticks to the size you want. I used green craft sticks to make it easier but you can easily paint them green if needed. For leaves, I cut off the ends of other craft sticks. You can use tiny green buttons for this as well.
Then, take some large buttons and glue to the center of the flower. Use smaller buttons around to make the petals that are it! Set aside to dry completely and you have these cute a button flowers for Spring!
I had these materials on hand from Dollar Tree but they can be easily found on Amazon.
Turn the finished product into a card for a special someone's birthday, mother's day, or any other occasion. I'm using this for my kids to gift to their grandmas and may do some for teachers. Add it to a frame, attach a gift card and now it's the perfect anytime gift!
Another fun idea is to make it on a canvas instead of paper. Gives it a more polished look and can be used as home decor. For this idea, you can even skip the craft stick altogether and use small green buttons as stems and leaves.
