Here's a fun toilet paper roll binoculars craft for all the inquisitive little kids!

Kids play with an assortment of objects throughout their childhood. For instance, they'd be crazy about yo-yos for a week and then move on to a Rubik's cube. Similarly, kids who are a bit curious tend to be more interested in telescopes, magnifying glasses, and binoculars.

And because we, as parents, know it's a fad, we put off buying the real thing until they're a bit older. But, at the same time, we want to encourage their enthusiasm. So, what's the solution? Empty toilet paper roll binoculars!

I came up with this brilliant craft idea when my kids were studying telescopes, microscopes, and binoculars in class. They were naturally interested in using one at home as well; therefore, I decided to make a pair of binoculars at home using toilet paper tubes.

And guess what? The homemade binoculars were a big hit, and my kids loved them!

Why Make Toilet Paper Roll Binoculars?

If you're looking for a fun way to help your kids learn about scientific instruments, the best way is through an easy craft. The best thing is that you don't need hard-to-find technical items to build a binocular at home, as you can do it using a simple paper towel roll, or construction paper.

This easy binocular craft can be handy for a class project, show-and-tell, or even a pretend play session with friends or siblings at home. And if you involve your kids in helping you make this fun craft, it will be a great way to spend some quality time together; plus, the kids can indulge in a healthy mind activity.

These even make a fun activity for kids acting like pirates looking out for their next adventures. Having fun during play is the best!

    Crafting Curiosity In Kids

Crafts that involve putting things together to make a new object create a sense of curiosity in kids of all ages who have a strong desire to learn or know something. It helps them use their mind to think of ways to create the perfect piece of art in the best possible way. And when kids set their minds to something, they don't stop until they achieve the desired result!

Hence, these toilet roll binoculars are an excellent way to let the kids' creativity out and help them learn about various materials and textures. Besides this, crafts of any kind are an ideal way to develop fine motor dexterity, enhance hand-eye coordination and improve sensory functioning.

    Toilet Paper Tube Binoculars Craft

Toilet paper is one of the most important items in our household; however, we usually discard empty toilet paper rolls. I have put those empty tubes to use with this easy toilet roll binoculars craft.

It's so much fun using empty tubes of toilet rolls, covering them with colorful washi tape, and hanging them around your child's head. You may need a hole puncher to punch a small hole to pass the piece of yarn through the side of the binocular and a hot glue gun to join the tubes together.

And then go all out with your creativity to add detailing to the cardboard tube binoculars!
