Fun Facts About Leprechauns
Leprechauns, mythical beings from Irish folklore, are thought to be members of the fairy family. They're described as short, red-haired men donning green suits, known as cobblers of the type of solitary fairy, who stash their gold coins in pots at the end of rainbows.
Known for their mischievous nature, leprechauns enjoy playing tricks on people. Spotting one is considered lucky, as catching them entitles you to their wealth and three wishes, leading to the phrase "Luck of the Irish." It's believed wearing green on St. Patrick's Day makes you invisible to leprechauns, sparing you from their pinching antics.

Now how to draw an easy leprechaun with these simple steps!!
How to Draw A Leprechaun Step By Step
Start by printing out the free Leprechaun Drawing Simple Instructions at the bottom of the post. Follow along with drawing materials.
The first step is to draw what will look like the leprechaun's beard with a horizontal line at the top. Draw two lines vertical, and a wavy line along the bottom.
Leprechaun’s Face
The next step is to draw the leprechaun face inside the previous shape. I like to start with a jagged line right under the straight line at the top. This is the leprechaun's bangs. From there draw a U shape under that for the face adding two small upside down U's for the eyes.
Draw a small circle in the middle of the U for the nose. From there draw a small line out each side of the nose for the top of the mustache. For the bottom of the mustache draw a long drawn out W shape connecting each end to the tops of the mustache. Then draw a U under the middle of the mustache for the mouth, with a small arch for the tongue. Add two small half circles off each side of the leprechaun for the ears.
Leprechaun's Hat
Start by drawing the bottom brim of the hat out from the horizontal line at the top of the leprechaun's head. Draw each end of the line curving up a the ends. Then draw another horizontal line above the other line making the brim. Next draw two lines up for the side of the hat in from the ends, right about the same width of the face. This is a tall top hat, so draw them up and then connect each side with a slightly curved up line across for the top of the hat.
Add another thick line right above the brim of the hat for a belt. Add two small rectangle arch in the middle of the belt like piece for the buckle. Then add a small shamrock drawing for added flare.
Next, draw two curved lines out the bottom corners of the leprechaun's beard. Then draw two jagged line in from the outsides of the leprechaun's coat for the collar of the leprechaun. Then draw a v like shape in the middle. Draw a small bow-tie shape in the middle right under the beard. Finish it off by drawing a small curved line for bottom to finish of the Leprechaun drawing.
Now you have your own cute leprechaun. You can trace over the lines you have drawn in pencil with a pen or black marker.
The last step is to color in your drawing of the leprechaun and make it super cute and unique! Viola you have your very own Leprechaun Drawing!
