Swing into Popsicle Stick Bat Crafting
Here's where the real crafty fun begins! We’re going to take those regular popsicle sticks and turn them into flying bat buddies. With a splash of black craft paint, a pair of googly eyes, and don’t forget the white fangs! You can’t forget them! Then you’ll have an adorable bat ready to swoop into the Halloween arts scene!
Try different size eyes for each bat or make the fangs bigger or smaller! You can customize this fun bat craft in so many ways! Which means each bat is as unique as the next. It’s the perfect craft activity for both young kids and older children.

Craft Stick Bat Supplies
- Popsicle stick
- Black paint
- Paintbrush
- Construction paper (black, pink, and white)
- Glue stick
- Scissor
- Marker
- Googly eyes
How To Make Popsicle Stick Bat
Bat's Body
Start by cutting one or two craft sticks to a length that is five craft stick in length.
Glue the two cut craft sticks to the back of five popsicle sticks.
Turn the popsicle sticks over and paint the front with black paint.
Bat's Wings
Print the bats wings from the template at the bottom of the post. Cut out the templates, trace them on black construction paper, and cut them out.
Glue the wings to the back of the bat's body out each side.
Next, glue googly eyes onto the top third portion of the front of the bat.
Cut out a small oval shape out of the pink color paper.
With the marker, draw two small circles in the middle of your pink oval shape.
Glue the nose below the googly eyes.
Cut two small triangles out of white cardstock as fangs.
Glue the fangs right below the nose with the top of the triangle pointing down.
Viola, you have a cute cute bat craft!
