Popsicle Stick Pencil Holders
A pen holder is one stationery item we all need in our homes, offices, or schools. While many people use mugs and glass or plastic containers as pen holders, we can also make a DIY popsicle stick pencil holder!
My crafts usually revolve around coloring pages and color-by-number activities; therefore, my kids have tons of colored pencils, markers, crayons, paintbrushes, and pens. And to keep them all organized, I need pen holders, lots of em’!
I used to get mugs and all sorts of containers to keep the colors in place; however, at the same time, I wanted to give my kids’ rooms a bright and cheery look. So, I decided to make popsicle stick pencil holders for them.

How to Make Popsicle Stick Pencil Holder?
This popsicle stick pencil holder is so easy to make; you only need 5 supplies for it. We’ll need scissors, glue, popsicle sticks, an empty glass or plastic jar, and paper yarn. I’m sure most of these items will be easily available in your homes. If not, you can quickly dash to the nearby arts and crafts store to get them.
The process of making the pencil holder is also pretty easy. You simply need to line the popsicle sticks around the jar with glue till it's completely covered. You can either use multi-colored popsicle sticks to give your pencil holder a rainbow effect or use popsicle sticks of the same color. It totally depends on your preference.
Once the base is ready, it’s time to get decorating! We will stick the paper yarn on the top and bottom of the popsicle sticks to hold them in place and also to give the jar a decorative look.
Now that the basic popsicle stick DIY pencil holder craft is ready, you can add as many embellishments to it as you want to personalize it. For instance, you can stick pom poms, stickers, flowers, and beads or use glitter to make them shine.

While waiting for the popsicle sticks to dry, unravel your paper yarn or grab your rubber bands.
Wrap the paper yarn around the pen holder craft three times. Add hot glue to a few points around the outside of the popsicle sticks under the yarn.
