Summer Crafts
Once the summer months hit, we're all about crafting and doing what we can to stay busy. It's not that we miss school per se but it's just that we miss being active and having things to fill our days.
The long days of summer are awesome BUT it does mean that you have to find things other than school time to fill the hours. And since I don't want the kids sitting on their tablets for hours on end, it just makes sense that they'd need to have great crafts readily available for them to do.
I've found great success with this fun kid's craft because it's one of those art projects that they can easily do on their own.
Popsicle Tissue Paper Craft For Kids
The biggest thing to keep in mind when it comes to crafting with tissue paper is that gentle hands will be required. This doesn't mean that they have to walk on eggshells or anything but a little bit of roughhousing while crafting is all it takes to tear and make holes.
Since this is such a simple craft for kids, it doesn't take long for them to make, either. We've whipped this up in an afternoon in a short amount of time just to break up the day and have a tad bit of fun.
I've also used this craft as a great way to slow down the day and even had some of the neighborhood kids join in on the fun.
You know what I'm talking about, right? Those moments during the day when the kids are literally bouncing off the walls and you have no reason at all as to why it is happening?
I've been there a time or two and this is where a fun craft like this always comes in and saves the day. All you need to do is gather up the simple supplies listed to get started!
Ways to Share This Popsicle Paper Craft
Our house is FULL of crafts. The fridge is covered, the shelves are stocked, the kid's rooms are lined, and I have more items saved in my scrapbooks than I care to admit. I just can't bear the thought of putting them in the trash but I do LOVE the idea of gifting crafts to others.
Not only does it give them someone homemade to have but it helps disperse and show off the kids crafting skills, too!
Have fun setting up this fun popsicle tissue paper craft for kids! It's a fast and easy way to have them be creative in no time at all!
