This easy corn craft is a great craft for kids of all ages to celebrate the end of Summer and the start of Fall.

Autumn is knocking at the door with its cooler weather, pumpkin everything, and of course, a whole bunch of fun fall crafts.

There is just something about making crafts in the fall. I think it’s one of those things like buying school supplies. You walk down the aisle full of crafting supplies and pens and pencils and just want to buy them all. That’s not just me right?

One of my favorites this time of year is our popsicle stick corn craft. It's super cute, simple to make, and requires simple supplies! So even you crafters who are intimidated by crafts can pull this one off!

Plus, it's an excellent way for your kids to develop their fine motor skills. So gather around your little ones, it’s time for some corn crafting!

fall fun with kids and corn

    Fall Fun for Kids

Isn’t the fall season just magical? It's the time of year when leaves turn different colors, pumpkins dot the porches, and ears of corn become more than just a side dish at dinner.

It's also the perfect time for our corn cob craft. And let me tell you, this isn't your run-of-the-mill corn on the cob. It's a craft version, made of yellow popsicle sticks and green paper. The best part? It's smiling back at you with its cute googly eyes!

So if you need a touch of Autumn on your mantel or Thanksgiving table, this corn craft is for you! Yes, you and your kids! It’s perfect for kids of all ages!

I also love doing crafts tied into whatever we’re doing. So when we’re going to a corn maze(an absolute must!) Then some simple popsicle stick corn crafts add just the right amount of hands-on learning before or after.

    Corn Craft

    Simple and Fun Crafts

Crafts are a great way to engage little hands and minds, and a simple craft is your best bet! This craft idea is not only a fun way to spend time together, but it also offers a great opportunity to discuss the significance of corn in our lives and its history with Native Americans. Plus, it's a super fun corn craft!

First, you'll need yellow popsicle sticks. You can paint regular popsicle sticks with yellow paint, or you can buy pre-colored ones for less mess. For the corn husks, you'll need green paper. Finally, the corn comes alive with a pair of googly eyes and a smile drawn with a black marker. And there you have it, a crafty little corn cob to brighten your day!

Let's not forget that crafts like these are perfect for developing fine motor skills. So whether you are a parent looking for a cute craft or a teacher searching for a special education project, this corn craft is a great fall activity that combines creativity with learning.

    Easy Popsicle Stick Crafts

Who can resist a good old popsicle stick craft? No one! They're the bread and butter of crafts for kids.

Not only do they provide hands-on entertainment, but they're also low-mess crafts (a bonus for parents and teachers alike!) This craft takes the cake by turning these everyday items into adorable corn cob masterpieces.

And easily extend this project by having your children make a whole field of corn! I mean all you need is just a couple of craft supplies! And since the mess is low, your tolerance can be higher.

This is also the perfect addition to your classroom's cutest fall bulletin board! You could even use this project to introduce new fall vocabulary for the littles. For example, words like 'husk,' 'cob,' and 'kernel' might be new to some younger kids.
