Paper plate crafts for kids are always fun activities for kids of all ages. Especially for Halloween in the case that there are so many different characters kids can be into and want to make into a Halloween paper plate craft.

The main reason I love paper plate crafts is that they are super inexpensive. You can grab a stack of paper plates at the dollar store and then there is house of fun.

Each plate also gives each child its own canvas and ability to put together their own masterpiece.

Halloween Crafts For Kids

Halloween is one of the most fun times of year for kids of all ages. Maybe it's because it is not religious for the most part and so no matter your beliefs, you can have some good old fashion Halloween fun.

That is why I think Halloween crafts for kids are so much fun. Kids can decide if they like spooky or playful. There are so many different characters and Halloween themes that kids can either make into arts and crafts or Halloween decorations.

Supplies for Craft

Paper plate
Craft papers
Pencil
Ruler
Scissors
Glue
Popsicle Stick
Marker pen

How to Make Paper Plate Halloween Craft

Cut out the pieces for the haunted house using the templates.

Glue the windows and the door.

Draw some bars on the windows using marker pens or glue black paper strips.

Cut out the pieces for the cat.

Glue the eyes on top of the head.

Use a black marker pen to draw the eyeballs.

Cut out the ghost.

Daw the eyes and mouth on the ghost using a marker pen.

Draw the eyes and mouth on the ghost using a marker pen.

Cut out the pieces for the spider.

Glue the spider’s legs on both sides, and then glue the eyes on top.

Draw the eyeballs using a black marker.

Now, cut out the pieces for the witch.

Using the glue the hair on top of the head, and then glue the head with the dress.

Glue the witch’s hat on top of the head.

Use the glue popsicle sticks with the characters.

Cut out the pumpkins.

Glue the stems with the pumpkins.

Select your paper plate.

Cut two slits on the bottom and top edges of the paper plate.

Cut out a background paper for your plate according to the size of your paper plate.

Now, place the house and pumpkins inside the paper plate. Then place the characters through the slits.

Have all kinds of fun with paper puppets all season long.
